Aunt Eleanor’s Peanut Butter Cookies

Peanuts!  Get your peanut right here! Peanuts are an All American favorite.  You eat them boiled, roasted or as a butter! They are a nutritious & delicious!

Mississippi Farm Families grew 96 million pounds of peanuts on 128 family farms in 2018 and brought in 19 million value of production.

When I was a young girl I loved my Aunt Eleanor’s peanut butter cookies.  I remember asking her to teach me to make them.  I couldn’t believe how simple they were to make. To this day, a few of these cookies and a cold glass of milk bring back warm memories.  Start a family tradition of your own by making my “Aunt Eleanor’s Peanut Butter Cookies”.

Aunt Eleanor’s Peanut Butter Cookies

1 cup crunchy peanut butter

1 cup sugar

1 egg

Mix, roll into balls, press with fork.

Bake 350 for 5 minutes on top rack.

Let cool before removing from baking sheet.
