Your family will enjoy this recipe for Quick & Easy Sloppy Joes. Use it lots of ways for a hot hearty sandwich, a saucy taco filling or a beefy good topping for salads and baked potatoes.
Quick and Easy Sloppy Joes
1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
1 cup ketchup
1 cup cola
Brown the ground beef with onion, salt and pepper.
Once there is no more pink in the meat, add the ketchup and cola. You can adjust the amounts of the ketchup and cola depending on how sloppy you like your “joes” as long as you use equal amounts.
Let simmer until liquids thickened. Serve on buns with pickle slices.
